Camp Green Lane Newsletter July 20, 2015
It may be hot in the city but it is cool here in Camp Green Lane. Today we had soccer camp within a camp. The participants worked on skills and played some fun games with our awesome coach Ryan Kelly. This is coach Kelly’s 4th year coming to camp and we look forward to seeing him again next summer.
Meanwhile, the rest of camp carried on with our regularly scheduled activities. We had leagues games, inter-camp practices and lots of lake and pool time. In cooking its Chinese week! The cabins have been picking vegetables from our organic garden to use in their fried rice and writing catchy fortunes for their homemade fortune cookies.
Tonight, lower camp will be heading out to the movies to see Minions! The Greeks will be playing mini golf at Freddy hill, and the seniors will be watching a movie together in the Gym.
