Camp Green Lane Blog Post August 8th

Only two days left of camp!

Today is a bittersweet day at Camp Green Lane as campers spent the majority of the day cleaning and packing their belongings. While everyone is undoubtedly excited to reunite with their friends and families back home, it’s very tough to say goodbye to your CGL family. The bonds built over the summer are a great support system, as bunkmates are helping each other pack and cheering each other up when they start feeling down.

Last night the month of March won birthday meal!

Tonight we have Cabaret. Cabaret is a “camp fancy” event where the Dining Hall is decked out in a certain theme (to be revealed later) and campers arrive dressed up to enjoy a special dinner. Following Cabaret dinner, everyone will report to BB1 to dance the night away!
