Camp Green Lane Blog Post July 24th

It’s really funny the things I hear when I walk around camp. Kids come up with the craziest ideas about what is going on. They find any reason to believe that something exciting is happening and it is amazing. The newest rumor I am hearing is about blue colored sticks. An Inter girl found a blue colored stick in a field today. Upon finding it she was convinced it had something to do with color war. This has now become a story that all of camp knows.  The campers believe that there are 10 sticks hidden around camp and that when they find them Color War will break. No one told them this was true, but the whole camp believes it and is looking for colored sticks.  The excitement continues to build and people are holding onto any piece of Color War information they can get. Whether it’s Uncle Max ending a meal and saying watch out for those booms, or a random blue stick found in the middle of a field we are all dieing for the war. We cannot wait to see what the break will be!
