Camp Green Lane Newsletter July 12,2015

A lot of exciting events took place in Camp Green Lane yesterday. We ran our first ever Camp Green Lane color run! The campers ran through an obstacle course with their Pal Day teams as their friends threw colored powder at them. Everyone had a lot of fun both running the course and throwing the powder, it was a huge success. To end the event we brought everyone to BB1 and had a color run dance party! It was very cool to see all the campers and staff covered in the powder dancing together. (See pictures posted on Facebook.)

During the dance party we had another exciting surprise for our campers. The sirens blew and the 2015 Olympic captains came out dressed in their respective themes to break Olympics. The theme this year is magical lands. Our 3 teams that will compete on Friday are the Land of Oz with captains Abe Granoff and Emily Leibovitz, Neverland with captains Jazy Scott and Brian Geller and finally Wonka Land with captains Allie Combs and Matt “turtle” Reses. We look forward to a great Olympic day on Friday filled with silly fun games, cheering and ending the day singing and Razzing the other teams in a  song.
