Camp Green Lane Summer Blog Post-July 13th

Tonight is one of my all time favorite evening activities at Camp Green Lane-The Inter, Deb and Cadet show! In case you didn’t know for all of the new families reading this, when I was a counselor I was the drama specialist and in charge of all the shows. I think this makes me appreciate even more how much hard work goes into these productions. The kids have been practicing since the first week of camp and are so excited to show the camp! This year the Inters, Debs and Cadets will be presenting Disney’s Moana. The sets look amazing; the kids know their lines and the dances are super fun. Can’t wait to watch everyone in camp sing along and support the CGL drama department.

Tomorrow is our annual Olympic games! The teams from Pop Music, Rock Music and Country Music will battle it out the whole day. We can’t wait to play game such as slip and slide kickball; human foosball and the ever-popular color slide obstacle course. Good luck to all the teams tomorrow. We cannot wait to see who wins!!
